About Us

Jeremy Raymond

Founder and Head Coach

A seasoned actor and multifaceted artist with an impressive career spanning over two decades, Jeremy's acting journey began at age 13 during a Western Canada theatre tour of Anne of Green Gables. He later funded his college education through diverse theatre and performance jobs. Jeremy has appeared in prominent TV shows such as American Gods, Psych, and Murdoch Mysteries, and in notable films, including Star Trek: Into Darkness and The Christmas Chronicles. His performance in The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie, alongside acting legends Gena Rowlands and James Caan earned him a Gemini Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 2003.

In addition to his acting credentials, Jeremy co-founded Thousand Faces Theatre in Vancouver, which was lauded for its innovative Canadian premiere of Martin McDonagh’s Pillowman. He is also an experienced comedian, having performed stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy across major cities including Edmonton, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

Jeremy’s artistic expression extends to music, having fronted jazz, rhythm and blues, and rock bands for over 25 years. He is also a lifelong martial artist, mastering various martial arts and combat sports, which he integrates into his coaching philosophy.

As a coach, Jeremy has over 15 years of teaching experience, drawing upon his extensive background in acting, music, and martial arts to help actors unlock their potential. Despite his accolades, Jeremy’s approachable style, coupled with a hint of humor, makes him a relatable and inspiring coach, committed to helping each actor embrace and excel in their craft.

Love What You Do

When you're fully present in your work, everything changes. Acting becomes more than just hitting your marks—it becomes a joyful experience. By learning how to quiet your anxieties and embrace creativity and play, you’ll not only deliver standout performances on stage and screen, but also truly enjoy the entire process.

The Reality of the Industry

In an industry that’s constantly evolving, it's crucial to stay adaptable. With guidance from coaches who have lived through these changes, you’ll gain timeless principles to navigate your own career. Rather than chasing a one-size-fits-all roadmap, you’ll develop the tools to forge your own unique path in a rapidly shifting landscape.

The Art of Acting

Acting offers more than just roles and auditions; it's a journey of self-discovery and connection. Through this craft, you’ll explore parts of yourself that have been waiting for expression and collaborate on stories that inspire and resonate with others. Acting becomes a powerful outlet for both personal growth and meaningful storytelling.

Find Your Authentic Voice

What makes you stand out as an actor is your unique perspective, shaped by your life and experiences. When you connect with your authentic voice, you create something entirely original that no one else can replicate. Instead of imitating others, you’ll show the world something truly one-of-a-kind:

yourself.
